Received the S10 plus on APRIL 5TH.

It's my wife's, but I kept telling her she sounds like a mumble rapper when she's talking on the phone. So I been using it myself and everyone I've called said the same thing. They always ask me to repeat myself because they can't understand me.
A brand new one is on its way. Anyone else have this issue?

I didn't proofread my post. Sorry.

Compared it to my note 9 and there's definitely a problem with her s10 plus. I actually think if I made a rap song using this phone, I really believe I'll sound like mumble rapper.😎😂😂

Even Xfinity couldn't understand me. I told them it's because it's the phone. Xfinity Mobile "Oh, no problem we'll get you a new one right out."
Got me an RMA number. Very important when dealing with Xfinity.

Also they credited my account and gave me a free month of unlimited service.
Thank you

You got those credits to your account because you mumbled rapped for them , I'm going try that with tmobile 😂😂

It's good they took care of that and gave credits

I had that on my S9+ that I bought last May. The problem came and went, unexpectedly. Didn't happen on Bluetooth or speaker, so I knew it was an issue with the microphone hardware and/or the software--maybe the noise cancelling circuitry and software or something.

I've not heard any reports of this happening on my S10+. It's one of the reasons I jumped at taking Samsung's trade-in offer. My S9+, while a phenomenal pocket computer, sucked as a phone.

Exactly, and yes blue and Speakerphone were fine.
The slightest thing that you see or feel it's going to be a problem, and you're within the exchange no questions asked window, I always tell people to get that new phone, and fast.
I know some carriers will try to slip in a refurbished one, but I still push for a brand new phone and never had any issues.

So had an S9+ for 13 months. Now the mic won't work; no one can hear me on calls, no more text voice dictation; cannot record audio clips for texting. ATT would not even try to troubleshoot it. As soon as I explained the problem, they offered me a replacement (crappy refurbished phone) phone. I tried every trick on google short of a factory reset and no help. This is a real pisser as I feel blindsided by Samsung lack of quality. So maybe the replacement phone does the same thing? Bluetooth and speaker phone work but I hear eventually the speaker phone dies too. ha ha update 2/7/20. I fixed the problem and sent back the replacement phone. I am a damn genius!!!

Truth. Out of frustration right before I was going to mail the phone back, I took a stereo (1/8") mini plug and jammed it in the input knowing it sits right next to the mic. Low and behold, the problem disappeared and now a month later (3/7) everything works fine. Cannot say it will work for anyone else but it can't hurt. It's really like kicking something and it just starts working again. Got lucky I guess...
