Hi

After using my device for 7 days I have the following battery usage pattern but with one major issue which is common in the world of Android.

I have tried to do the following to fix it but to no avail:

Reset phone.
Restrict background activity on the Android system.
Clear Google services and framework cache.

Any help is much appreciated 😁

Interesting. I don't have that on my analysis.

Hmm, yours seems higher than mine. This is a normal day for me at work.

Here is with 23% left and Android system still at 3%. Over 6 hours of sot and 16 hours on battery. Thinking you should probably reset yours and see if that helps.

Hi
Do you have Google account logged in? I realised when I log out of Google account the Android system uses a lot of battery but when no Google account signed it, battery life significantly increases and also not much drain from Android system. Any solution for this?

How do you get this result? my android system usage is so high. Do you have google backup and restore activated in settings?

Yes, the Android OS is multiples of normal.
When you reset, did you also restore? If so, reset without restore, which will recycle a problem.
1st, place the phone in Safe mode and verify its either a 3rd party application or a OS issue.

Lol I feel terrible for y'all. None of my previous Galaxies from S6-S10+ and Note 5-N8 have had more than 1% of Android usage. Screenshot_20190421-015056_Settings.jpeg

I did a reset and mine still got up to 20-23%

Ibe had to put on medium power saving mode to keep it lower

do you happen to use Instagram?if so disable backgroud activity for it.

Almost every app uses parts of Android System, so Android System uses a lot of the battery being used. But on Pi, that should still be under 10%. (5% isn't bad, it just means that some app is using processes from Android System, rather than having the code in the app. (If it had the code in the app, the app would show more battery usage. [And you'd be wasting storage by having the same procedure in 2 apps.])
