S10E Battery Thread

I personally went for the 10+, but am curious how the E is holding up. No battery threads yet anywhere so far, I believe.

Definitely pretty solid, I previously used a Pixel 3 for a bit and it's been better than that...

It also charges so darn fast so a quick car ride gets you back up to full in no time

Yes. Fast charging is amazing and really fast! Way faster than my iPhone XR or wife’s XS.

I never ever car charge and only charge at night while sleeping. I take it off the charger at 7am and go to bed around 11pm and I still have between 50-60% of battery life left.

Watch that usage. Letting it drop below 40% is going to shorten the battery's life a lot.

I've never found that to be true . I normally always put my phones on charge between 15 and 20 % and haven't noticed any down grade of battery life . I could maybe see it if you was running it to single digits .

Maybe - if you don't keep your phones too long - but my Note 3 battery still works fine. 50% is ideal, 40% won't shorten it much, but 25% constantly is a heavy hit. It's not just my word - read Battery University - How to Prolong Lithium-based Batteries.

I can only go with what I've seen on my phones and my kids phones .
I had my daughters iPhone 7 battery replaced whenever they was offering the reduced price .
They checked it at the iPhone store and it was still at over 90 % capacity after 2 years of teenage charging habits

I have just downloaded accubattery which is a great app for monitoring battery health. I generally only charge to 80% but do let it drop lower than 20% got a shock as it's showing after 4 months it's down to 92% health! Was expecting at least 96%

My S10e has been off the charger for 10 hours today. With 1 hour 10 minutes of SOT, I'm still at 81%. On Wifi for 7 of those hours. So far it's been great on standby.

Still setting mine up for daily use but it's been on with moderate use and the always on screen on 24/7 and in the last 48 hours it's down to 60% I was worried about the always on screen but it's doing great so far. Will report more once it's my daily driver.

My first day with the phone. I'm very happy with sot and battery usage so far. It should only get better. 57% battery with 4hours sot is beast.

Definitely the most impressive one so far. How is there no Android System or OS usage? And I'd guess Snapdragon 855 variant?

My result. I'm going test out dark theme to see.

From morning heavy usage, around 90 minutes of maps navigation with screen on, watching few YouTube videos, listening to podcasts, general browsing, emails etc.

Have around 130 apps, all accounts auto sync, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC all always on, in built dark theme, zero apps disabled, always on display set to tap to show.

Basically no modifications, unlocked S10e.
On medium usage should get me thru the day.
