After having used this phone quite a bit now, I'm fairly impressed. The phone will last a complete day, into the next morning where I'll throw it on the charger. I haven't had to do the topping off thing yet.

I would agree that yes its a smaller phone/battery however with moderate use I can get at least a day out of it.

I have good battery life, all day with normal usage, until games are involved, especially heavy graphics, one five minute round of tacticool it drops three percent.

I had 7 hours screen time yesterday and 4 hours talk time with 17% left .that's pretty solid .

Wow, phenomenal! Are you a heavy user? One reviewer whose video I watched said he was a heavy user and he got about 4-5 hours is SOT - that's pretty good.

I would say I'm a fairly heavy user. But it really matters if your using GPS a lot. And 7 hours screen time isn't normal. Normally it's more like 5 hours SOT and 4 hours. Talk time with around 20% left

I'm getting 4.5 to 5.25 Screen on Time off the charger about 12 to 16 hours.

Definitely best battery life I've had since the Xperia Z1 compact

You are right - GPS would definitely cause a drain.

That was a great phone and my first Android one!

Had the Z3 after that and it had incredible battery life.

The battery life is ok for me, on screen time is 6-7 hours with reading webs, watching youtube, netflix, location on all the time. Device idle time is about 0.8 % per hour (just turn off screen, no turning off wifi, location or any apps). Mine is exynos.

Some are better than others as for me I just keep everything on that I use and let it eat! If I need juice before my day ends I will simply chagre it but so far no need. As they say in Nascar......."Crank It Up" and enjoy!

Thats with wifi only. Its not that good with 3G. But I have never used 3G all day so not sure how much difference.

Very similar to mine except I start an hour earlier. I slow charge overnight because I am convinced constant quick charge reduces battery life much quicker.
Accubattery is a great app for monitoring everything about your battery.

What level are you guys with screen brightness? I played with this phone and to get the a pretty white display color and not that cream/off white color you get when brightness is pretty much 60% or lower, you need to be pretty much max brightness

Mine is 30-40%, too much bightness makes my eyes uncomfortable.
