Hello everyone!

I hope everybody is doing better than I am. I'm having some trouble with my S2 and I really hope someone can help.

I have had my s2 for 2.5 years now and it's been great. It has been rooted and was running Jellybean (I can't remember which ROM since I haven't touched it ever since I flashed it months ago).

Lately, it has been acting up. It would freeze randomly and when I restart the phone, it'll work fine again. This time, it was a different story.

It would freeze at the white fonts. I would of course do a battery pull, nothing. I pulled the battery and let the phone sit for 24 hours, nothing. Then I go into Recovery mode and try to wipe cache, it would freeze and not do anything. I tried giving it time to do its thing but it would restart and go back to the white fonts. This time it would actually loop back to the white fonts and not just freeze there (improvement?)

I tried re-flashing my rom, but it also froze in the middle of it. So I had to scratch that. Then I got desperate and was just going to wipe the whole thing by doing a factory reset from recovery. Nope, didn't work either - BECAUSE IT FROZE!

So now I don't know what to do...

What I suspect is that the motherboard is gone? Seems like it's a hardware problem because recovery mode couldn't even do anything. I really don't want to hard reset my phone and don't want to try it until I can extract my pictures that are in the phone (the most recent ones didn't make it on the microSD). Plus, I'm not even sure if this hard reset is going to work any way.

Anyone experienced this? Is it at all possible to extract pictures (data) from the phone when it freezes like this? I really really REALLY want to save some of them before I can truly scrap the phone.
