S20 FE, who's thinking about it?

^Honestly if the 4a had wireless charging I would have dealt with having such a small display. But $700 to get the 5... No way. Samsung really nailed it. I really thought this was the year I finally got a pixel.... Nope. Samsung really surprised me with this phone.

I'm replacing a Pixel, the 3 XL, with the S20 FE. I didn't even wait to hear officially about the Pixel 5. The 3 XL is still a good phone.

I'm looking forward to trying something new for a while. My only modern Samsung was the S7 Edge, which I kept for 18 months...a long time for me. I had the Pixel 2 XL and 3 XL for a combined 3 years, though.

^I'm replacing my s8+, which I've had... Almost 4 years? The longest I had a phone before this was almost 2 years. Samsung has been great, but I'm really not brand loyal.

Amazon is saying my shipment is due next Tuesday. Bummer. Hope it doesn't really take that long.

This will be a good upgrade from your s8+

Absolutely! Though, if the S8 was still getting updates I might keep it even longer. It's still really fast. The reason I want the upgrade is for software support and the camera. Really excited to play with the triple camera setup

Yeah your going to enjoy this phone

My friend has T-Mobile and she's on her way there to check on getting the FE. she said you don't get the extra credit for accessories through T-Mobile is that true? I told her I thought people on here said you do.

I dropped in at T-Mobile today after (as expected) being less than impressed by the Pixel announcement.

Hadn't planned on it, but ended up leaving 30 minutes later having ordered the FE for $700 billed in equipment installments over 24 months, and with $700 in credits, credited monthly over the same term, no new service needed.

$500 from a trade-in value on my Pixel 3 XL and $200 from an Insider code. Providing I keep with Tmobile for 24 months (been with them or companies they've absorbed) over 20 years, so not even a doubt), my effective cost was $84 for taxes and some ridiculous nominal processing charge and then a swap of phones.

The trade-in credit is a heck of a deal, and applies for phones as old as the OnePlus6.

I pre-ordered 3 of them.

But just because I rushed. Ordered $599 from Amazon. Cancelled that and pre-ordered from Best Buy to get it a day or two sooner. Then cancelled that when I found out I could get it free from T-Mobile if I added a line for my sister who wanted to switch to T-Mobile anyway.

Please, don't anyone post a way to get paid to order one. I can't take another round.

just got my shipping notification for the phone Navy Verizon variant however none of the accessories have shipped including the case I may have my phone early but it's not coming out of the box until I have a case for it

Yep, I'd never heard about them till reading some posts on T-Mobile Reddit. I asked the store rep about it and he said I'm the first who's ever asked about it - he doesn't generally bother with them so was happy to offer the use of one.Screenshot_20200930-212935.jpg

Got my today!!! My case and screen protector still won't get here until Friday.

Mine is on the FedEx truck for delivery today, as well. My Spigen case, which I ordered off Amazon, will likely be here tomorrow.

I'm asking because I have spoken to several different Samsung agents via their online chat and it literally amazes me that it's a 50/50 split between whether or not the Samsung clear stand case which I purchased as part of the $70 credit during the pre-order checkout process either is or is not compatible with NFC and wireless charging.

See the discussion about whether the unlocked S20 FE supports mmWave 5G (Verizon's). Reps have stated more than once that it does, another said it was a typo, and it also looks from other evidence like it doesn't.

I had a similar experience when considering a move to TMO from Verizon recently. Got different answers depending on who I talked to about when I would receive the virtual card to payoff a device balance on VZW, and also different answers about just how much they'd pay off to get me moved over.

It's frustrating when the supposed experts don't even know.
