When closing apps, this message appears every time and I must tap screen twice to close apps.
"Tap here to view Multi window and other options"
So I tap one time for message to disappear, and one time to close app.
When I tap on the message, it does not open.

How long you been having this issue? That message that says tap multi window should disappear after couple times taping it.

Usually it shows up until you actually use multiview once. Try clicking the icon open multiview and see if the icon information still persists.

When I tap on it to open, it disappears - doesn't open.
Been happening for the week I've owned the phone.

This is the final result
Last night I contacted Samsung chat to have them help me with my problem.
I was on chat for 3 hours and 47 minutes (until 1 a.m.- way past my bedtime).
They had me doing all sorts of things - they even took control of my phone a few times,
and then had me do a factory reset. Had to download smart switch to my pc then transfer
all info from my S20 to pc which took a long time. After all that, and nearly 4 hours later,
they failed to fix my problem.
Fast forward to today.... I got on chat again and the guy read my chat from last night and said
I should go to a walk in center for a tech to look at the phone. Luckily for me, the shop was
only about a mile from my house. HE FIXED MY PHONE IN LESS THAN 2 MINUTES
I was amazed, and see now how bad the tech support from Samsung is.
That's it - phone working as it should now.

Did they tell you how to do it, incase it ever pops up again?

The tech did not show or tell me how he did it. He was behind the counter with plexi between us and I couldn't see what he was doing.
He fiddled with it and all of a sudden he handed it to me and said it's fixed.
If it should happen again, I'll just go back to the shop and let him take care of it again.
I think I should be okay now.
