This is a nice surprise. Should help resale value. 2 years for a 1000 plus phone was always ridiculous. About time they stepped up.

Yeah with the prices of these phones, they definitely needed to give another year of support for them. $1400 is asking too much for a phone that would only get 2 major updates until now. $1400 is still high, but at least now there will be another year of major OS updates. I've always thought most of these Samsung flagships to be plenty capable of an extra OS update. The processors and RAM they have in them now make them very capable of running more than what samsung typically does for them.

PhoneArena with an article out as well confirming every Samsung Flagship since the S10 will get an extra year of support as well, so its legit.

That means the S10/Note 10 lines should receive Android 12 by the end of their support cycle and the S20/Note 20 line will Recieve through Android 13. This is fantastic news. I think i shall hang onto my S20 now. Had been considering jumping ship, but this will keep me in Camp Samsung.
