S20 Ultra back to not receiving instant notifications again.

The adb commands go deeper they turn off optimization for all apps at all times including system apps. Optimization you can go into individual but some won't let you turn off
I wasn't suggesting anything to do with ADB. Just that doze and optimization are the same thing.

Eh, just my opinion, but for me Android phones offer too many notifications as it is. I'm happier with far less and usually turn off 50 percent of them.

But I get that everyone's needs are different.

There is a lot of truth in that. I find myself constantly disabling notifucations.

I am having this issue also. Never was an issue on my iphone :(

With my experience i think its only happening with twitter so far. I only have the phone a few days and i have not used facebook, whatsapp etc much but i think they are fine. But with twitter i have to unlock the phone to receive notifications. Its def something to do with some sort of sleep mode (even though i do NOT have it set to sleep) If i lock my phone, i might get a notification within the first minute maybe but beyond that nothing will come through until i unlock the phone and once i unlock, they are instant!

Its very strange. While using the device i was missing the odd notification also but i found a setting to do with syncing twitter and enabled it and since then every single notification gets shown to me so i thought that was the problem resolved but then as soon as i lock the device, back to square one.

Its frustrating. I know the iphone gets hate from Samsung owners but i have to give credit where its due. I never had any issues at all with my iphone. It just works very well. There is clearly a lot of Samsung owners having this problem and it seems to exist for a number of years now so its strange Samsung have not took notice and tried to correct it.

Perhaps its an android issue NOT samsung but from what im seeing online its all samsung users that have this complaint.
