Yes, Samsung has amazing deals for pre-orders.
Depending on the Phone you trade in you can get up to half off. I traded my S9 in for S10+ for about 550 off and additional freebies like Samsung Buds and a free case.

With the S20 FE I got $500 off with the trade-in and $70 which I redeemed for a Gear Fit 2.

Best to wait for a month and a half at this point in time instead of the S20 plus IMO.

That's true. Samsung usually has some pretty nifty deals when a new phone comes out!

so, "standalone 5G, video calling in dialer, and RCS" are NOT solvable by flashing to TMo firmware? THAT'S what would be wrong.

But I never said that. I said it IS solvable by flashing TMo firmware. I said THAT. And you said the same thing.

Can I ask when there will be specific threads for the S21? I'm coming from the S10 Plus me and my husband And I've been watching every video I see and reading all about it. Were due for 5G phones and have had unlocked the past two or three but I want to do Verizon brand this time. We switched from Sprint to Verizon about a year ago and I still have signal problems cuz a lot of the s10s had problems and my husband will have signal when I don't do to him getting a new motherboard put on in the very beginning. I never sent mine back in.

But anyway I've told that story before Sorry I ramble sometimes. I really love the purple S21 plus but the specs of the Ultra with that camera are so much better. So we will probably get silver Ultras. The difference between 6.7 and 6.8 to me hopefully the ultra won't be too big especially now that I use popsockets I think I'll be able to hold it good.

But I also want to know about should I go through Samsung which I've done before I've gone through Best Buy several times or should I go through Verizon eo they usually have good deals? We both own our phone the S10 Plus and I'm sure Samsung's probably going to give at least four or 500 for trade-in.

Unfortunately, I found out just a few weeks ago that phones NOT bought directly from T-Mobile, even though they may be T-Mobile branded phones like the one I bought at a great price from Samsung, are not eligible to roam in parts of the country.

Do those areas show up as covered (via a Partner) on T-Mobile's coverage map (https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/coverage-map)? The detailed Terms & Conditions say nothing about requiring a T-Mobile branded phone, so I think they have a false-advertising problem if they show areas as covered if factory-unlocked phones are artificially excluded in those areas.
