Is there not a way to make the S21+ wake the screen for incoming notifications?

Like when a text comes in, the screen wakes up so you can the badge or snippet of the text. Like the Pixels do

Yeah certain apps like the message app will do this , can turn on in notifications in settings edge lighting to flash the camera ring or edges . Another is in accessibility settings flash screen for notifications
