S21 Preorder Samsung Online

On Fedex app, I have a shipment from Samsung listed as well now. Delivery Wednesday, 1/27. Signature required so should be phone.
 
I was merely informing people so they could see if their backorder has been removed. I still have the cancel button as well.

I'm sure by tonight the cancel button will be gone too. I woke up this morning to see the order is no longer back ordered and cancel button is gone as well.

Cancel button removed as well this morning, no shipping info yet. Ordered the morning of the 14th. Ultra, 256GB, Unlocked...
 
Did you get a confirmed order email? Sometimes if your credit card denies the charge they will cancel the order but they usually will contact you to update payment first.

I got the confirmation and ship date. I'll look again and see if there's a way to contact them. The credit card is good and the Verizon finance was good. Weird... Thanks, I'll check it out.
 
I just checked FedEx, and same. Label created, scheduled delivery the 27th.
 
I currently have an S10e that I purchased directly from Verizon. I'm looking to upgrade to the S21 and the best deal I've found iso far is to preorder the S21 directly from Samsung. However, I'm not sure how that works. If I purchase directly from Samsung and click on the Verizon tab as my service provider will the phone come preloaded with all the Verizon bloatware and apps as well as be ready to use on the Verizon network? I guess what I really need to know is how much troiuble, if any, wiil it be to get the new phone set up on with my existing Verizon service if I don't by it directly from Verizon like I've aways done in the past?

It would be the same phone as one from Verizon. Just the cellular radio is designed to work on Verizon's network. The trade in at Samsung gives your discount upfront on the purchase instead over the 24 months at Verizon. Samsung is better way to go. Plus you get your promos with the order instead of having to wait.

Our orders are wating to be processed through the credit card company I was just told. I cancelled and re-ordered a couple times and his 1st order got declined and cancelled cause the credit card company was suspicious and he gave them the ok and told them their would be 2 orders. I called to make sure they still had that on file and didn't try to cancel again once these orders went through but she sees them pending just not processed which is good.

Also I finally got a Supervisor to do me a one time courtesy so she says and she manually took the hold off my order since the watch is returned even though my email says it takes 3-7 business days to verify it's working. So now my order is finally confirmed but I see different things on the app verses on line at the website. But at least the website now says a date and it says expected delivery 1/29. Not sure if the backorder message went away on my husbands order or not. But it's weird now my silicone case says 2/1 and my buds and 2 chargers say 2/2 the pen is like the 16th. Good thing my other case came. But on the app still it says ship by the 27th it's weird. I am just glad the hold got taken off. She told me to check my order status sometime in the next 24 hours so maybe the date 1/29 will change if not I am just glad it's confirmed and I have a date now. :-) Be nice for both of us to get phones on the same day and I pray Fed-Ex comes before we leave for work. We work 2nd shift!

You can always use the fedex app to have delivered to Walgreens near you and just pick up there. It would be same day.
 
Unlocked versus carrier specific versions of phones from Samsung.com:

question please -

on TMobile here, but due to TMobile's JUMP program being so horrible last year, i bought my S20 Ultra 512 from samsung.com instead.

this year, i traded in my S20 Ultra for the S21 Ultra 512 unlocked also at samsung.com.

my question is what are the NEGATIVES, the downsides, of buying an UNLOCKED phone at samsung.com versus a TMobile phone at samsung.com?

would my phone have some features specific to TMobile that would be missing on my UNLOCKED phone?

i'm trying to understand the pros and cons of buying unlocked versus TMobile-specific variant, both bought at samsung.com.

i can't seem to think of any downsides of buying unlocked though.

fyi: i do need to eventually unlock a phone, say if i had bought it from TMobile via their JUMP program, as i travel internationally and when i arrive at the destination, i pull out my TMobile sim card and put in a local sim card. TMobile used to require that you own the phone for something like 3+ months before they will unlock the phone for you.

i wonder if it works the same if you bought a TMobile phone from samsung.com directly, would you still have to call TMobile and ask them to unlock it for you?
 
I ordered mine thru VZ on the 17th, it still shows 'processing'. and shipment date of 29th.

I know but how do I know what time it would be there verses being here. We both leave between 1 and 1:30 for work. UPS even if it needs a signature we can approve them to put it in our garage they have our code. I think Fed-Ex in the past has come early though. I have the app on my phone and tried to do manage orders it was down and wouldn't let me.

But now on my confirmation email it says one or more of your items is not available at this time and the only thing missing a date is the free smart tag. So I hope that is all. I know the pen said the 16th I can wait on that and the buds and other stuff the 1st and 2nd.
 
My cancel button was gone a few days ago for S21+ black, 256GB. Charge still pending on my CC.

Looking forward to getting it next week! Just a little worried about the intrusive ads that some reviews have mentioned. Hope it's not as bad as some people are making it sound because otherwise, everything is sounding really positive. MKBHD gave a glowing review of the Ultra.

Has anyone had any issues pre-ordering when using Verizon financing through the Shop Samsung app? I want to pre-order through the app to get the extra $$ for extras. I am able to select the S21+, trade-in info, select my goodies and select Verizon financing and then I get a blank screen with the exception of the word Samsung being at the top of the screen. I've cleared cache and uninstalled/reinstalled the app, on multiple devices, and no luck. Just wondering if other folks are having the same issue and maybe have heard from Samsung on the issue. I've opened a ticket with them that has been escalated. Thanks.

I had that issue and gave up and ordered through my computer. Still got the $250 credit, just not the extra $10 for using the app. Ordered Verizon 512gb.
