Nope I'm still really happy with my S10+ I don't have any issues with this phone. Takes excellent pictures and still is fast as hell.

Oh you did! Well I have an S10 Plus with signal problems. I don't have an S20 sorry. I just been coming to the 20 thread because a couple people had mentioned the S21 and I have previously asked when there would be a thread on just the 21 remember? You said closer to launch date. But yeah I was just more interested how many people that had the 10 were upgrading I heard if you have the 20 it's not really worth upgrading especially since the regular and plus are only going to have FHD. And I heard none of them will have an SD card slot.

Looking at the rumored specs for the new S21, it seems the display resolution for the S21 will be 2400x1080 while for my current S10 I have 3040x1440. That seems to be a significant step down in pixels, although I have to admit I normally use the 2280x1080 mode on my S10 to save on battery usage.

I did reserve for the smaller S21. I only want a smaller phone with antenna for Verizon 5g. I realize 5g is in an embryo state but I would like to keep the phone for a few years.

However, there are a lot of compromise that Samsung is passing on for the sake of lower cost phones. No sd card slot, 8gb instead of 12gb and lower resolution screen.

All S21 models need to have larger in display fingerprint sensor for the compromise.

Lower cost fold or flip later this year. Also possibly new Surface Laptop 4 and Duo 2.

I have s10e with same thing - timeout is set to 5 min, but screen goes off in less than 1 minute during a call - even if I do not put it to my ear.

I'm debating buying an s10e for like 250 and trading it in for the 550 price. I have the note 20ultra atm, thinking I might just keep this and try the s21 ultra.

I'm debating buying an s10e for like 250 and trading it in for the 550 price. I have the note 20ultra atm, thinking I might just keep this and try the s21 ultra.

That's a great move buying an old device and trading it in to reduce cost.

Jimmy is Promo had a good live Q&A last night. He said their weight distribution on the 21 ultra was much better than the s20.

For those upset about the removal of the sd card slot, there is a usb-c drive storage option (in general, not from Samsung) that can be purchased.

No thank you. Why would we be ok with having to carry another thing around with us when it can be built into the phone. Maybe samsung should continue being their own brand and stop copying apple. Not putting a SD card in the phone is Samsung's way to save them money as we know the price of the phone isn't going down.

If they get rid of the SD card it's a downgrade, but you're correct to each their own, some are willing to take less and pay more.

I watched it too, and agree it was informative.

Still didn't convince me to upgrade from my S20 Ultra though.

Lol yeah I thought so but even the s10 models are going for over 300 still lol. Does it matter what carrier? I just know it has to function and look good correct?

That's a good idea.. I've seen a few in the 265 range but with taxes will be around 300...

I'm definitely jumping to an S21 when they come out and have put in my preorder information. Coming from an S10 that I still really like, I'm just bored with it.

My S10 has signal problems and it's not Verizon cause mine will say no network connection and my husband will have good signal. We have unlocked now and I am wanting to try Verizon ones this time around. We plan on keeping our phones for a while too which is why I want 5G and the Ultra cause of the better specs.
