S21 Preorder Samsung Online

My samsung.com order for the S21 Ultra 512gb Verizon just went from created to backordered on the shop samsung app but with a still ship by of the week Jan 27th. Website hasn't changed any info though. Ordered around 12pm on Jan 14th. Still cancel button present for the order. Anyone have any changes on their orders today?
 
Still have cancel on 512GB. I did have a Smart Tag ship that I ordered separately though.
@jlangner: like you, i also have my cancel button as well. wonder why we both still have the cancel button even though many others have had theirs disappeared.

i also ordered the 512gb unlocked variant, btw, and ordered around 12:30pm on Thursday, so really, i couldn't have ordered any earlier, since that was literally just after the end of the Samsung Unpacked presentation.
 
I think it will be Friday before our Cancel button goes away..just a guess, but they would need to start charging around then and usually cancel goes away before they charge.

it's one of the funnier things in life, when we all get excited that they debit our credit cards. ha ha.

I paid via PayPal and had the money come out of my bank account a couple of days after I pre-ordered it. I still have my cancel button.

samsung.com seem to be taking their time this time around, for some reason, to process and debit our cards.

hope they get to it soon!

maybe they need to update their computers? :P
 
I am stuck on the phone with Samsung now. I saw an email from yesterday saying my order cannot be taken off hold cause the watch trade in order # isn't completed and also it mentions my husbands order on his account which has nothing to do with the hold. I was told in the very beginning I could have 2 orders under each account. I understand not having 3 cause of the watch trade in. Well now she says the watch trade in is complete but I have to wait 7 business days for it to be inspected so I have to wait. I said well my Samsung shop app shows ships by 1/27 online but at the computer under my account I still see nothing. This is Crazy!

My husband did have problems ordering his phone through the app and it wasn't going through and a chat person told me to go to my app and add his account or email and order from my app under his account and I did. He sees his order on his shop app now I don't see it, She's saying 2 orders under your name and I think she means the watch which they have received. She still claims I have to wait 7 days for the trade in to be inspected I don't get it. So now i am stuck on hodl for a supervisor and wanted to swing by Best Buy before work guess it won't happen today.

They may do paypal different. For credit card they usually put a pending charge on which drops after a several days and then actually charge around the weekend before ships..at least in the past that is how they have done.

Agreed. That's when we should start seeing the pending charges on our cards go final. And hopefully get out UPS or Fed Ex tracking numbers.

Some of us already have tracking numbers. Just need the phone to ship! :)

at this point, i am thinking that we all ought to look at our credit card's online site to check if and when samsung has debited us. wouldn't that be the most tangible confirmation that the process is moving forward smoothly?

I thought I already saw a charge for mine on the credit card I need to go look. But my husband still says backorder ships by the 27th.I was supposed to get a call back from a supervisor about my order being on hold and no one ever called me back. But my app shows the dates on everything but online at the website it don't.
 
i saw my tracking number in the fedex app, it says shipping monday and arriving Wednesday

ah, so that means that this weekend, say Saturday or Sunday, we'd likely see debits on our cards, i.e. just prior shipping on Monday.

oh, btw, when i pre-ordered from TMobile (NOT samsung.com), i've gotten labels that were created but they held on to them for longer than expected so the original expected arrival date was no longer valid, meaning that it was delayed.
 
I ordered on the 15th, it was pending on my card. 2 days later i got a confirmed order email.

my samsung.com charge on my credit card is still merely pending, even though i pre-ordered on Thursday, January 14th, at around 12:30pm, immediately after the Samsung Unpacked video. it still has not yet turned into a full-fledged debit.
