s21+ to pixel 6 jump anyone?

The S22 rumors are quite intriguing IMO. If your a Samsung fan, I'd suggest holding off until the S22 Ultra is available. As for the s21 ultra. I don't see any "upgrades" the 6P pro has over the S21 Ultra.

Agreed. There's nothing the Pixel 6 can do that the ultra can't. Plus, Google is only offering $425 as a trade in. What a joke.

I go back and forth about what I want to do. But seeing the camera shots on the pixel 6 pro I'm holding off for now I think. Also wondering if I should just get the s22 when announced. Decisions decisions.

If I can break even on my S21 Ultra when the 22 comes out, I'll definitely jump on it. If not, I don't mind keeping it. I financed it for 30 months so it makes it more difficult to do so.

Yeah.....after some reviews and comparisons to S21U, I would rather stay with Samsung for now. Unless there's going to be some killer tradein deal and I can get Pixel 6 Pro for almost free....but even then I would think about it. Like I said in previous post, I have zero bugs with S21 and Pixel already seems to be full of them. I've had pretty bad luck with Google fixing stuff.....

What exactly does the P6 offer over the s21+ or Ultra. Maybe camera? There are so many more customizations possible with Samsung. Stock android may be appealing to some. But it gets boring very fast IMO.

I have an S21 Ultra and Pixel 5. TBH, I am anxiously waiting for the 6pro. My SIM continues to stay in my P5. Just hoping I get good trade in value for my S21U, or I may just put it on Swappa.
Google doesn't have great trade in deals

I'm not as impressed with the Pixels as I thought I would be, no matter how hard the tech reviews try to hype it. The software looks clean but bland, the camera looks great, but they let Samsung and Apple catch up, the unit I played with had the bootlooping thing going, and in general I'm nervous about a first generation chip.

I'm sure they will be amazing, but I'll stick with Sammy for now.

People been saying chip is not made in-house by Google, it's Samsung Exynos that's been modified. I don't know if it's true.

Actually, I can't think of any compelling reasons to give up my 21 plus for a P6 Pro.

I have the S21 Ultra and got the pixel 6 today. They're both great phones but the S21 Ultra is clearly the superior phone (as it should be since it costs twice as much). When I say clearly, by no means am I saying that the pixel 6 is far behind or that it's a bad phone....no no no, so far I REALLY like it. For $599 this has got to be the best bang for buck in 2021 because you get a lot of phone for the price but the S21 Ultra has the 120hz, the 5 cameras, better design imo, more features etc....I would not recommend anyone going from the S21 Ultra to the pixel 6 unless you really want stock Android. But if you don't have either phones and you just wanna get a new phone to enjoy then 100% go for the pixel, save some money and enjoy this awesome device. If you have the regular S21 get rid of it and get you a pixel 6. Just my 2 cents

Facts on top of facts. Night and day experience for me and the S21 Ultra is clearly the superior of the 2. I may be a little bias being in the Samsung ecosystem for as long as I have, but I'm not sold on the pixel 6(not that it's a bad phone for the price). Hoping that I will enjoy the 6 pro a little more when mines finally come in. Maybe I need more time with the 6 as I really haven't spent much time with it since I was working all day. Will see how I feel a week from now.

Samsung and Apple have surpassed Google with their cameras.

I watched a few reviews and as I expected it's not the great device that google is stating. It's better then the last two devices but not worth switching from my s21 5g.

Remember that Google pixel 6 and 6pro are brand new and I'm sure Google will fix a lot of issues that are coming out right now. in that regard Google is good at fixing with their quick updates.
