s21+ to pixel 6 jump anyone?

Why not both? I'm keeping my S21 Ultra and have a Pixel 6 Pro 512gb on order. Google will fix most of the issues. Also, don't forget you can also port the Google Camera to the S21 Ultra. I've been using it with my Ultra for months and get great results.

For me, the camera on the 6 looks great. I just think reviewers wanted some huge leap, since other OEMs have caught them in some ways.

Honestly I actually think the ultra is a better overall camera. I have both pixel 6 pro and s21 ultra and thinking may return the pixel

Facts on top of facts. Night and day experience for me and the S21 Ultra is clearly the superior of the 2. I may be a little bias being in the Samsung ecosystem for as long as I have, but I'm not sold on the pixel 6(not that it's a bad phone for the price). Hoping that I will enjoy the 6 pro a little more when mines finally come in. Maybe I need more time with the 6 as I really haven't spent much time with it since I was working all day. Will see how I feel a week from now.

I have both as well and ultra is simply better in most areas

I'm thinking of going from a Pixel 4XL to a S21 Ultra, bypassing the Pixel 6 Pro. Thinking, doing some comparisons. Waiting to see if Google fixes some of the problems such as battery (I believe the problem is due to Android 12 since my battery on my Pixel was greatly affected), display brightness, optical FPS sensitivity, a few others, and can't deny, waiting to see what's on the S22 and if the S21 drops considerably in price.

Ordered the Pixel pro on the 22 delivery was for December 22. Cancelled it and the 21 ultra is ordered.

I'm considering this as well, but based on the reviews I've seen, the Pixel 6 Pro can't match the S21U's zoom.
The zoom on the S21 U is ahead of it's time and can only be appreciated by those who have used the device. Experiencing the jump in stability for the 100x from the S20 U I can only imagine the greatest it will have if it's still included in the S22 U. Is it a make or break feature? No, but it's nice to have especially when trying to capture shots that would otherwise not exist.

It's not a make or break feature, but since I already have the S21U I'm taking all the features into consideration before I decide whether to stick with it, or move to the Pixel. The other option, is to just order the Pixel and switch between the two....

There's no way it could have, the 6 Pro has a 4x optical lens and the S21 Ultra has 3x and 10x optical lenses. I'm no photographer, but all the computational photography in the world can't make up for that extra glass.

I was actually worried I'd likethe pixel 6 so much that my £1200 S21 Ultra would sit on a table in favour of it, but that was unfounded.

The pixel 6 does a few things better, but there's no killer feature for me, while the ultra has plenty, and does almost everything better.

That said, for an average person the pixel 6 is probably a better choice, it's value for money is very high.

*UPDATE* I returned the Pixel. Sticking with the S21U.

I picked up the Pixel and after a full day of side-by-side comparison, I'm thinking I may return it as well. It's not a bad phone, I just find that I prefer my S21U.

My main issue is I can’t justify 3 phones and I always need an iPhone with me. Ultra just seems to do more even though it does cost more

I sold my iPhone when I got the Ultra. I was trying to convince myself to keep both, but I only want to carry one device.
