S21 Ultra Battery test video. Loses big time to the still king S20 Ultra 👑.

OK, but Apple OWNS the OS as well as the hardware! It's like comparing Apples to Oranges...pun.
If Samsung OWNED Android they could probably do a little better at battery longevity as well as a few other things. Just to emphasize how hard it is to do what Apple is doing with a great advantage...look at Google who DOES OWN Android and still cannot seem to make a decent phone!
Understood, but you're making the case to dump Samsung and use Apple. Correct, apple owns all of those aspects and they've nailed battery life. It should not be head and shoulders above Samsung, though considering Samsung is their main competitor. Maybe you're right and it's impossible for Samsung to improve their battery life bc they are working w Android.

I'm confused, so the S20Ultra is better than the S21Ultra? Should I send the S21 back when I get it?

This paragraph makes no sense to me. Especially as I sit here with both the Note 20 Ultra and the iPhone 12 Max, both of which get me through a day and a half.

Don't pay attention to this nonsense about the S21 being a problem. Check out the majority of reviews which state that the S21 Ultra battery is great, especially if you have the adaptive refresh on.

Honestly, even if the battery performance was the same, all of the other benefits of the phone make it the better purchase (today).

I had the 12 Pro Max for a week and the battery was quite good. Not as good as the Max XS IMO and similar to the Note 10+.

I would argue that its impossible for Samsung to improve battery life due to the amount of stuff that comes with one ui. The phone is essentially running 2 operating systems, the core which is android and then the entire user interface which is of their own design. If Samsung were to just dump all of their services and run an android phone that just has a skin instead of a whole set of separate services. They would probably murder the battery life on an android phone.
