S22 pictures..show us what you got!

Wow.. was this taking using night mode or long exposure? There is little or no light pollution in the sky. I could never take a pic like that here in the city even in an open field. Or at least I never tried, but I doubt it.
Long exposure. 30 seconds . About 1 second flash of light to bring out the foreground more.
In about 4 to 8 weeks we are hoping to start seeing the milky way.

Darkest spot within about a 4hr drive for us. Helps the reservoir is in a dip surrounded by hills.

Bumped into some nice guys with serious astro kit. They kindly let my son have a shot of the telescopes / night sights etc.

This is the St Augustine Lighthouse, including normal view, 10x, 30x, and 100x. This camera takes some impressive shots.

I actually took these with my S21U (need to wait for another full moon to test the S22U), but knowing that the S22U is very noticeably better in this department, I am excited. Pretty much any other phone just shows the moon as an overexposed white blob of nothing.

How did you do this in the settings? Or just normal camera mode and taking a picture??

Literally just hand-held the phone pointed at the moon. Tapped the moon to lock exposure as well as the anti-shake. 10 seconds of editing in an app along with some light cropping and that was the result. Pretty amazing what Samsung is getting out of these cameras, considering the investment needed in "traditional" camera get to achieve something appreciably better.

Here is a similar shot I took with ~$10,000 of camera equipment. It's obviously better, but it's pretty funny how close you can get with a S21/S22 Ultra:
