S22 pictures..show us what you got!

Old and new. Crazy how much things have changes with the packaging. Toyed with portrait mode in the flat laying photos.

Note: phone has heated up to 97 degrees while snapping photos. Not sure if that's normal or not.

Wow! So much has changed, just from the packaging alone, like you've said! I loved my S10 but am hesitant to get the S22. Still thinking about it.

I likely would have kept my S10 and not even upgraded to the 20 a couple years ago. I was and still am a big fan of microSD slot support, heart rate and pulse ox sensor, and the display on that thing was a stunner. But alas after2 unfortunate accidents at work, going through 2 units and being ineligible to replace again due to claims being too close together, I updated to the S20 a couple years ago.(and even that one I had to part out cuz it would no longer take a wired charge but everything else worked and I did not have insurance on it.

We will have apples this year and the squirrel is a bit hard to see due to shade. But this was 10X zoom I think, and I was approximately 60 feet away from the squirrel.

For just the plain Jane S22 limited to 30x zoom, I actually think it took a pretty darn good moon pic, especislly in the daytime. I know people are sick of moon pics on FB pages but i figured it wouldn't be minded here as much. I'm pretty impressed with this camera when it's not getting hot!

Wasn't even using a tripod either.

We are supposed to have a TOTAL lunar eclipse Sunday night and viewing conditions ate expected to be optimal. They say with the way the moonlight traveling between dust particles and other atmospheric conditions present here on earth, it's going to give the eclipse a red hue to it.

Really excited to see what this thing can do with that!!! Perhaps it might not get a good quality image since this will be at full darkness with the event beginning around 10:25 pm and ending just after midnight, but I will try it anyway.

The moon shot I took yesterday was at around 7:40ish and there was still some daylight left so I feel that helped get me a quality image. Still though I can't pass up the opportunity to see if I can get some good shots! Would be soooo cool to get a few photos of the moon in full eclipse with that red hue with the same clarity as what I got yesterday. But again I completely understand if I don't get the result I'm looking for since there won't be light source filtering in to help out with this one.
