Katydid nymphs are expressive with the googly eyes. Didn't expect much out of the one capture with the field cricket given how small it was, but really surprised how clear it turned out.

Had a little trouble getting this shot into focus with the blend of shade, sun, the tree, and the bug itself but it went zipping by and buzzed right by my ear. No clue what it is.

Visited Android Central from a computer for the first time in over 5 years, these images don't look nearly as good on a PC screen as they did a phone screen, in fact some of them look downright awful.

I'm going to assume it's mostly due to the forum compressing images upon upload but still.

EDIT:
Downloaded a couple images to check resolution, the forum is dropping them to a resolution below what a 3mp camera would capture, just goes to show 12mp is far more pixels than most people need.

Indeed you are correct. I posted it to a bug ID group on FB being the first time i saw one of these, they also agree that it is a giant leaf foot bug.
