S22 Ultra camera?

I believe the biggest complaint about the s21 ultra was that it didn't capture motion very well. IE children and pets etc. Whereas iPhone and Pixel did those shots well.

Sorry, I didn't read all the links provided but question on the S22U camera...

108mp sensor they are advertising... S21 has a 108mp sensor too... Does the S22U still have 100x Zoom??

From a links or videos I've seen so far and the leaked Samsung product info pics... I have yet to see their leaked pics or anyone else mention 100x Zoom. Their first phone with 108mp sensor they put in big letters on the back of their phones 100X SPACE ZOOM! Second gen phone they still at least mentioned it. So far... crickets. The hype on 100X zoom over?? lol. :p

If I get the S22U, they only reason really will be to play with the updated camera. I don't care about 100X zoom really, just curious. But on my N20U I have to say I enjoyed the novelty sometimes and came in handy when traveling like when in Maine and hiking and as a telescope to see the lighthouses far away at 50X. None of the pics were keepers but at the time fun.

The real keepers where at 3x zoom when it's optical zoom or up to 10X.

With the S22U I would hope it's much better at 10X optical and hopefully the rumors of a much improved night time shooting.

Love Samsung cameras when the light is out and shining bright. But my Note 8 and Note 20U, night time photos were never really great.

I still see no reason to replace my Note 20 from a photography perspective, S22 looks like a minimal upgrade at best with tweaks to the computational side of things that I don't often take advantage of.

Same here. The only reason I'd upgrade right now is if I get a deal or work out a deal where it would only cost me a couple of hundred dollars out of pocket maybe.

Otherwise, I'd hold off by this time next year to get one... by then my N20U would be 2.5 years old and don't want to deal with not getting OS upgrades soon and I'll look to get a fresh phone for the next few years. If there are no rumors of an S23 Note and no other phones that interest me, then I'll get the S22 Ultra.
