Spen housing still left side
Curious how next year going goExactly. Yes. Spen housing still left side! The development was already done on the N21U. Might as well use it for the S22 if you want to include a silo. The N21U was gonna get the 2nd gen FPS and probably the 5000 mah battery. They were going to be a camera update still have the 108 sensor but go from 50x to 100x zoom anyways. If they had green-lighted the N21U, it would be the S22U you're looking at now.
Yup. I didn't order it. I'll use my note 20 ultra if I change it up from the fold. I see no reason to move from the note 20 to the S22. This video has a point, it's basically same phone with some tweaks, mainly in the camera and he addressed the camera perfect. On a good note the S22 even kept the 100x zoom, not new.All debate aside does it make a difference to anyone? Will it cause anyone to not order, cancel an order, jump off a roof, wrestle a grizzly bear?

Exactly, so far I know one thing I'll be on Fold train for sure if they mess up the phone line up , I dont like this back and forth let's try this and see if it works.Yeah. Completely up in the air what they will do...
Do they keep the S-Pen in the S Ultra or was it a one shot deal?
If they keep the S-Pen, do they re-design it to follow the S/S+ design language or stick with the distinctive "Note" language??
Or if rumors are correct and they release a Fold4 with S-Pen support with built it silo, do they follow the Fold/Flip style and how they designed the silo into it to use for the S23 Ultra? They could move the entire S design closer to the Fold/Flip design language?
Or if they do release the Fold4 with S-Pen and silo, do they think they have found a way to satisfy fans in keeping the S-pen and silo by moving it into the Fold and can get rid of the S-pen in the S23 Ultra and return the S23 Ultra back to the S/S+ design??
They can go so many ways.
Does it all matter who knows maybe , S series users never really bothered with Note series or other way around , some S and Note series users don't want nothing to do with Folds ..it is what it is at that end and we going gave to choose what's available to us .Does any of this matter? Note series, S series, basically the same damned thing. One comes with a pen with squarish corners and the other doesn't with more rounded corners. Wow..drastic difference there, both function the same exact way other than coming with a pen lol. Oh and the S22 is supposed to have better haptic feedback. I like having better haptic feedback, makes it feel more premium and gives an otherwise dead feeling touchscreen feel more mechanically tactile and lively. When I use a older phone or tablet they feel chintzy compared to the S21U and I'm looking forward to the even better haptic feedback in the S22. I hope the Tab S8 also has on par haptic feedback but I'm not holding my breath because when I got the Tab S6 it felt a couple generations behind the flagship phones other than speakers which was the only thing that performed better than the phone counterpart.
Jump to 5 min mark if you want to get to skip to the Ultra discussion...
MKBHD @ 5 min. 55 sec mark, "I think Samsung just made a Samsung Galaxy Note 22 Ultra and just called it a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and slotted it in at the top"
Andrew @ 7:27, "This is literally just a new Note."

I love how these guys think they are breaking news that this is really a Note with a different name. I don't know, maybe its news to people who have no clue what a Note is or have ever had one.
All of the software is on the S21U, too. Don't forget, while it lacks the hole in the bottom, the S21U is fully S-pen compatible.
Stumbled across this video on YouTube, thoughts? https://youtu.be/lqgMTRlIiQI
I also feel as if there is some prevailing sense that people are offended that the Note series essentially took over the SXX Ultra line - at least for now. I've read articles from someone who is upset that he felt left out in Galaxy Unpacked because he was a S21U fan and they gave him nothing to look forward to as he was looking for the S21U form factor.
I think they are going to monitor how well the S22 Ultra does and then decide if they will continue this way for the future. It's clear for now they got rid of the S2X Ultra line and replaced it with the Note line and rehashed the S22 Ultra name.
A rose by any other name smells just as sweet.
