This is a great comparison between the two phones. After watching this and other reviews and comparisons, my take away is that the Pixel does a better job at still photos but still struggles with videos.

It seems that Samsung still is the best overall phone for photos and videos on Android.

As far as the comparison between Pixel and Apple, the same seems to apply as it has always been. Pixel takes better photos and iPhones take better videos. But Samsung is overall the more consistent device. It produces the best of both.

Also, my takeaway from this video was different than the reviewer's conclusions. All throughout the video it seemed like the S22 Ultra was outperforming the 7 Pro, then he gets to the end and states that the winner was the Pixel 7 Pro.

Didn't watch the video as I currently have both and I'm formulating my own opinion. I too feel the S22 Ultra is the better overall device and will likely be returning my 7 Pro.

Ummm..... I have/had both. Feels like each phone tailors to different needs.

Pixel= Great point and shoot, simplicity, good battery, software

S22= video, customization, decent point and shoot

I like both, so I have both...lol

That's great that you can afford to have both. I wish that were the case with everyone.

That didn't take long.
I honestly kind of figured it would go this way. I had the 6 Pro and the S22U with the sole purpose to bounce back and forth between the two. The only thing is, when I put my SIM card in the 6 Pro I could barely last 24 hours before going back to the S22U. I thought maybe things would be different with the 7 Pro but nope ...

Hmm, I'm surprised that Samsung surpasses Pixel according to this reviewer. Samsung's photos are GREAT, don't get me wrong, but it still lags with image stabilization and the processing of animal fur. However, Samsung is an awesome all-around phone and I'd totally buy one again!

Same here... except with this P7P, I haven't had the urge to switch back to my S22U (yet)

It's the common thought that the s22 ultra is the better device. I almost pulled the trigger for the 7 pro they were offering a 900 trade in value. I almost pulled the trigger but after doing some reading I didn't go thru with the purchase.

They do make it difficult with all the promotions and trade in amounts. It doesn't take too much searching to find reviews of how poorly cinematic blur video performs compared to the iPhone 14 pro.

Trade in promotions my friend. Without that, I couldn't do it.......

This

The secret is you have to get the first phone paid, then it's trade in party. I had a fold 2 and an old note laying around, think note 10, I bought the fold 3 for $187.00.

You also have to stop buying carrier phones, their promos are monthly credits and buying outright is not cheap.
