I have never had insurance on any phone, I almost bought it for my wife's Flip 6 because the screen is more delicate... but I am thinking of buying the Samsung care+ for my S25 Ultra, can anyone share their experience with Samsung care? Do you always have to pay deductibles?

I haven't received the cell phone yet, but customer service told me that when I have it in hand, I should contact the service department and add Samsung insurance.

Depends on the 'level' of Samsung Care you get and what is covered, there may not be a deductible (and unfortunately this may vary from device to device, so you'd have to check the specific TOS for the policy). For instance, for the S25 if you get the 'plus' level, it includes unlimited cracked screen/back replacements with no deductible, but other models before this line either had a limit or did include a deductible for the replacement.

I always pay for the Samsung Care+ (without theft). And the one offered for the S25U states: "Breathe easy. You're covered with unlimited repairs for drops, spills, and mechanical breakdowns, including $29 screen repairs at 700+ Samsung authorised locations nationwide."

That's weird... the one I'm seeing in the Samsung Shop shows it's a $0 deductible for screens and back glass.

Strange, I guess they like you more than they like me.
Info received via email verifying the coverage:

FFS even Care+ is better in the US compared to Canada.

I wished I had family in the US.
