I have a Virgin Mobile Galaxy S3. The charging port has been broken for quite some time(which I tried to fix with electronic cleaner, pins and anything else I could think of). I was dealing with the usb port not working by using an external battery charger and all was fine and dandy until today. Today, my power button stopped working out of nowhere. I tried cleaning it a bit to the best of my abilities and making sure it wasn't just stuck. So far, I've had no luck. Unfortunately, this leaves me completely unable to use my phone, as far as I understand. My question is, are there any methods to possibly fix my power button or power my phone without a functional usb port or power button? If not, which part should I try to replace, or should I give up and get a new S3? I would just really like to fix my phone and have it function again, but I have little knowledge of working on electronics. Thanks in advance for all your help!
