Hi guys, I have found three methods to do this but wanted some advice from people that have successfully added a second and/or third partition on their devices.

I have a rooted device and a custom rom (paranoid android) installed, purchased a 32gb SD, but all the directions seem to be for 8gb and lower and wanted to know if the method was different with a higher gig card.
I have downloaded MiniPartitionWizard (HomeEdition), have a general idea of how it works but don't want to mess up the sd card with any mistakes.

so i guess my question is what is the best method. here are three i found, links below. the second and third are the same i think, only diff is the third one it doesn't lose your data on it; but if you could elaborate on methods for 32gb card plz that wuld be great.

1. [Guide] How to install a custom ROM & Partition your SD & Root - Acer Liquid Metal - LiquidMetal.MoDaCo.com - MoDaCo
2. How to Partition SD Card and Use Link2SD in any Android Phone with Screenshots
3. [Guide] Enabled Link2SD and later swap - xda-developers

Fanx, any advice would be most appreciated:D:-[

I'm not sure what help you need - the instructions on how to use the partitioning software are pretty explicit. Since you have a 32GB SD card you have plenty of space to throw around, so I'd suggest making the first partition 24GB and the second partition (where your apps are going to go) the remainder. (I mean, if you're going to follow their instructions and make the second partition a lousy 1GB, why are you wasting time with this solution at all?)

I find it hard to believe that even on a 16GB phone you don't have enough space to install apps to your hearts' content. What does your Storage view show?

my phone memory is 12gb. and i download alot of films and music. but i would like to use my whole memory yes, there is no point having a 32gb card if you don't use all the memory. and as kies has issue connection to my phone, i wanted a quicker alternative instead of having to remove the card & insert in PC etc everytime it was full. fanx for advise. i will give it a shot and tell u how it goes.

If you download lots of movies and music put THAT stuff on the SD card and just leave the apps where they belong. Then you don't have to mess with special partitions or even rooting.

If you're having USB connection issues then try something like
AirDroid: http://market.android.com/details?id=com.sand.airdroid
or
WiFi File Explorer PRO: http://market.android.com/details?id=com.dooblou.WiFiFileExplorer.PRO (there's also a free version).

Or if the issue is just with Kies then just use Explorer and put your phone in MTP mode and drag-and-drop files like you normally would.
