I have tried oneclickroot, however it wants me to register, which seems potentially rather dangerous, and also the register button doesn't do anything at all.

I have tried towelroot, however it says phone not supported. I think because it's post June 2014, the phone says kernel 3.4.0 Oct 7 2014.

I tried the odin + Samsung firmware, however none of the firmwares matches my region (I want UK), however not sure what the region means, or if that's only language. Also there was none that matched my baseband version of I9301IXXUANF2

I was going to try Kingo, however read a lot of reports that it sends your data to China.

Also I noticed at the end of this that the phone has "SE for Android Status" set to "Enforcing SEPF..." which I am guessing means a Security Edition Policy Framework is enforced.

I really just wanted to get rid of both samsung and google bloatware...

I tried another approach which was to disable all those apps just as "google film and tv" that I will never use. However upon disabling them it then started to re-download them ALL fresh again, which meant they took up even more space than before! (plus bandwidth)

My idea was to use Titanium backup, however any other ideas to either root, or get rid of bloatware would be much appreciated.

Thanks! Dave
