S3 Toolkit

I'm using this toolkit to root, and i'm on the last part. Option#3 is the "allinone" root, that does everything. Until i flash a new rom, will my phone basically look the same after the root, except for some new options? I just want to get used to it, with root, before i add a different rom. Thanks.

Got stuck on the Odin screen. Clicked on PDA, but it couldn't find the toolkit folder because i had it on my desktop. Where do you put this folder so Odin can find it?

Tried five(5) times, and no root. The screen says "hacked", but have no root to download Titanium Back-up. How can you tell, on your phone, if you are rooted? This is getting to be more trouble than it's worth.

I downloaded an app named Root Checker. It will check if you are rooted or not.

As for why you aren't rooted, I have no idea. I rooted my phone about a month and a half ago using the tool and had no issues whatsoever doing it.

Downloaded that app also. It said that i wasn't rooted. I'll try again.:'(

Try using utube for a tutorial. Thats what I did, they showed me step by step how to root using odin, teamepic, and cwm.. it was my first time rooting and it went well.

Phone went blank. I'm trying to get into recovery mode, but no luck so far.
