S3 won't work during charging?

Hello all-
I've had my S3 for 2 days now, got it on E-bay, when it's charging it either won't work or you have to press the screen hard to access apps and it runs slow/wonky. I can't see that this is a normal process for this phone. Is it in a power-saving mode that I am unaware of or is something else wrong? Please advise. Thank you.

Nope, no setting for that anywhere. I'm guessing it's the fact that it's used off of fleabay. Sorry. My wife and I have had ours for over a year and haven't experienced anything like that. Both rooted too.

I can't think of any reason why charging would impact this. Was the phone fresh, needing a complete initial setup when you got it? If not, I'd suggest doing a factory reset and starting from scratch. Have you installed any task manager or battery saving apps?

See if it still acts like this with no 3rd party apps installed at all.

I am inclined to agree with Meyer. Reset, and have 2 or 3 crucial 3rd party apps. Then observe for a day or so.
