S4 Active, Charge?

I'm curious if the Samsung Galaxy S4 Actives charging option ( normal USB + wall mount ) is the only way to charge the device?
Is the S4 active out of date for those charging docks ( the pad you just place the phone down on no needing to plug in ) ?

My device won't charge due to the connector inside my phone has became wobbly if not broken; therefore won't charge. Any charging alternative besides getting a new phone ?

The S4 doesn't come with the hardware necessary for wireless charging built it. However there are accessories wherein you replace the back cover with a wireless charge capable back cover.

However, good luck finding one now, and it might be cheaper to have the phone repaired.

Oh wait. You have an Active. Lol. Not sure if that will work. That's for the regular S4.

I'm thinking about just replacing the charging frame.
It looks easy enough plus if it doesn't work then oh well I have the s7 active now (which I hate the s7 active) and my s4 has been sitting in my room.
