S4 Active stopped working after placing in a bowl of water.

Ummmm....In all honesty if you must know I was in a bar with friends and it was kind of a dare. A gun has a safety yes. A phone is replaceable, your life is not. I would not have attempted this if it were to endanger myself or another living thing. I hope that clears it up.

Ummmm did you miss the part where it quit working after an hour?

Honestly why would you submerge your phone in the first place? I know the safety on my gun works but that doesn't mean I point it at myself and pull the trigger. Hope you don't do the same thing with your One.

Sent from my Samsung S4.

Thanks to the guy that said..."Don't make it look like a duck quack like a duck but then say it's a Pigeon.

In other words don't commercialize what you can do with the phone when you can't do actually do it. I understand that fast food looks better on commercial but when you order a big mac your not getting something the complete opposite."

I needed the laugh. To the guy that said...

And for those that have been doing just fine with their phones?

LUCKY THEM. I ain't here to bash the phone. It was a cool phone. Just prefer not to have it if it isn't waterproof.

Congrats they work as Samsung intended? For those that clearly dont should be allowed to return them for water damage. Or are you saying that because those that have a defective unit or whatever means they should be stuck SOL?

EDIT- Just did a live chat :

Never said that. If you followed my other posts you would see that just because a select few of us are taking to the forums because ya'll are having a problem, doesnt mean this is a wide spread issue. If it is found to be defective, then by all means...get a replacement.

I made sure mine was sealed, then dunked it in the bathtub...I was a little nervous doing so, but it is fine. I frequently use my phones for taking pictures at the beach and at the creek, and have always been nervous about the exposure to sand and water with my iPhones. The S4 active just gives me a little more peace of mind when doing so.
