S4 home and lock button ocassionally unresponsive.

Hey all,
Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and may have an answer or solution to it. My phone is about a month old and within the first week, only once, I went to open my phone by hitting the home button and the screen stayed black. I tried my lock button and same thing, black. It now has been doing it a bit more often lately and the only way for me to get my phone back on is to either pull the battery or press all of the buttons at once.

first do you quit your inactive programs? also have you tried emptying the cashe?

I have emptied my cache and I don't always close inactive apps but majority of the time I do.
