So a brief history of my issue. I tried to root my S4 awhile back and screwed it up somehow or another. When I turn on my phone, it shows the lock unlocked with the words "custom" underneath. Okay so I cannot fix that. Recently I've been having intermittent issues with the device just stop working, by that I mean I'll get a message that a google process stopped unexpectedly. Fast forward too today. Got a message that says there's a software update to my device (I'm on 4.4.2) and I try the upgrade, it downloads fine, then when it tries to install I get a message that says an error has occured, please try and upgrade later.
I am due for an upgrade in the next few days and have decided to go with the M8 (I know rumors are swirling about the possible M9) but at this point I am out of ideas.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me for some help?
