Does the S4's weather app actually use the sensors for temp or does it need to connect to mobile data?

I'm looking to get a one in a month, just curious of all the built in sensors. Thanks

If you mean the clock weather on the phone screen it uses data. It's accuweather, just like on the sg3. The thermometer is buried under the exercise widget under comfort. If you want a thermometer widget try weather station, it uses the thermometer to show temp, pressure and humidity.

That's what I mean. So the widgets do?

yes the big clock one does. The Samsung temp app doesn't use data, but I don't think it has a widget for just showing the temp.

The weather app does not use sensors.
