S5 & dropbox help

Hi all,

I want to remove the dropbox files from my s5 device so that i have some spare memory in my phone. currently there is around 2.2gb of dropbox folder cached files stored on my phone. I know how to hide the folder in my gallery but it still leaves behind 2.2gb of cached memory which i want spare.

Is there a way to remove the dropbox files from my phone but NOT permanently delete them from my online dropbox account??

Just want to get rid of the files showing on my s5 device, but dont want to delete them from my original dropbox account..

you should be able to do this by -

1. Un-Favoriting/Un-Starring the Files so they will no longer reside locally on your phone.
2. Dropbox App Settings-->Clear Cache.
