S5 failed, going back

My S5 is going back to verizon today. I just got back from 4 days in Brazil. On day 1, either the phone or the sim card failed. It says there is no sim card installed. I understand that new things can break, but, and here is the problem, it won't allow me to use wifi or even the camera. The only option is to reboot it. It boots normally and allows me to use wifi, the camera, music player, etc for about 5 minutes then says it can't find the sim card and only gives me the reboot button again. Not a good thing to be out of the country with no contact.
 
Ouch that does suck. Sounds like you got a lemon :(.

On my third s5. Received today. Seems fine although that new phone excitement is long gone...
