s5 over heating

Hi everyone I'm new here I've had my s5 since July it's a sm g900f non rooted running 4.4.2 att and Im having a problem with it over heating when I play plants vs zombies 2 there's no background apps running or anything but it just gets really hot

Welcome to Android Central! It can be normal for a device to get pretty warm when playing certain processor intensive games or apps. How hot does it get? Does it actually hurt?

I don't believe Plants vs Zombies 2 is a processor intensive game. I would be more inclined to say either a rouge app or a problem with the phone itself.

You're probably right, but it depends on how warm the device is actually getting. Sometimes people might think normal warming of the phone during use is unusual. Granted, Plants vs Zombies isn't a frenetic 3D game, but I imagine it can still cause some typical warming. My Nexus 5 gets warm if I play Sparkle HD for a while (which is a Zuma-type game).
