S5 Running HOT in sleep mode!!!!!!!

Hey all...

So I have had my Verizon Galaxy S5 for a week...I noticed it running a bit warm at times, but nothing out of the ordinary.

However, this morning I placed the phone in my pocket and 20 minutes later felt it radiating heat while the screen was off. I could feel the heat through my incipio case.

I don't have any way to measure the heat, but my guess is that the phone should not run that hot when in sleep mode in your pocket.

Just looking for suggestions or if anyone else is experiencing this.

sounds like a rogue app or setting. i bet a rogue app is the culprit. delete all suspects and reinstall one by one until you find the culprit.

That was my thought too...maybe an app was trying to pull info down or something.
