S6 Edge as a bedside clock

I picked up a wireless charger with the intent of replacing my bedside clock with my S6 edge. My issue now is, no clock display while the edge is docked. My workaround was to download "my alarm clock" app and utilize it. The app works great, I even cracked my wallet and dropped 99c for the no-ad version. Now my issue is screen brightness, I cant set it low enough so it doesnt illuminate half of my bedroom. I am dimmed all the way down. This has become a big deal and I need a solution fast.

I need an app suggestion or a way to modify the edge to show a clock while docked that has 100% dimmer control. The daydream feature doesnt have a clock option. Hope you can help!

Unfortunately I don't think there's such an option at the moment. I guess we need to email Samsung so they can add that functionality on a software update.
Sorry, I haven't checked any apps that have what you need. But I'll be sure to share if I find one. Please do the same, share if you find one.

Mine works fine. Go to settings>Device>Edge Screen>Scroll down to night clock and select the hours you want it to work

You adjust the brightness in the app by swiping your finger up or down. You can make it almost not visible to very bright.

I gave this a test run rjack22. Couldnt get the clock to light up while docked...the settings were not clear to me...had to fall back to the edge clock.

Mine lights up while docked. Must be a setting on your phone.
