Currently I have the GS5 on T-Mobile right now. I have been looking at the S6 Edge Plus for awhile now. They currently have a promotion where you can save 200 dollars instantly. I was thinking about jumping ship and purchasing it. Is it a worth while upgrade though from my S5? One negative definitely for me is my S5 being water resistant and the S6E+ not being at all. But, it would definitely be awesome having a larger screen with the speaker actually on the bottom. The 32GB is 479.99 and the 64GB is 499.99.

Does the the curved edge features of the phone get old after awhile?

I honestly have not used either edge in months and have even disabled it just so I don't accidentally swipe it.

The dual edges are purely for looks ....... for me anyways.

I use the edge all the time, mostly as a hidden dock for my mostly used apps. I rarely have to open the app drawer, and my home screen is empty except for the weather/clock widget. That being said, the price is $499 before the credit? If so, and you really want it, go for it. If not, I would hold off until the S7 edge drops in price. It does have some features such as always on display, SD card expansion, and the water resistance that you're looking for that the edge + doesn't have. Samsung kinda burned everyone w/ the edge+ by releasing the next iteration only 6 months after the S6 edge+ release. Updates are getting better (at least through VZW), so we at least have most of the actual software features of the S7 edge.

I prefer my s6 edge plus to the s7 edge, on account of the s6e+ having 7% more screen area.

The one reason why I did not get the S7 Edge.

It may not seem like a big difference in size for most but I spent like a half hour playing with both and decided that " bigger " was indeed better wink wink !!

Definetly worth the upgrade.. Just be aware that theres no SD slot.. As I dont do alot of video, I went for the 32GB, which gives about 26GB of use,, I still have plenty of flac music files on and lots of pics...

Starngely enough, it wasnt until I got my 32GB and started watching what I put on my phone that i realised.. most of what I used to put on an SD was mainly pointless.. :)
