S6 edge+ YouTube and touch key sound problems?

S6 edge+ YouTube and touch key sound problems? nothing works

My Samsung Galaxy s6 edge+*
Have often time have problems when watching youtube, it would freeze and at the same time the touch key sound stops working, please help !

I tried manually cache wipe but didn't work ..it comes and goes ???

Hi, are you using the Youtube app or Chrome? secondly are you trying to view 1440p videos with a poor signal?

I have 4g LTE and full signal bars
I watch videos in any quality but mainly 720p
OR 480p

Hi and apologies for the late reply. Do you have the recent version installed on your phone? have you tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it? I have had this issue in the past, where my Moto X Style would freeze during playback and the phone would be useless unless I turned it on and off - I just put it down to too much heavy viewing at one time.

I'm not sure if that's the case, Cause I recently found out. .it's not only youtube but viewing anything online with video wouldn't work. I don't know but if I don't find a solution. .I think it might be a virus idk .

I would take it into a Best Buy Samsung Center for support. They should be able to troubleshoot and also reset if you have a virus.
