S6 - Fast charger not working!!?

I've just bought a Samsung s6 (UK) and the fast charge does seem to work. Updated the phone as soon as I got it and when on charger wired it just says "cable charging" and wireless it says "wireless charging". I've push all cables in as much as I possibly can before I brake both. Would like some help

On the back of the charger is says
Model; EP-TA10UWE
Input: 100v-240v - 50-60Hz 0.35a
Output: 5.3v 2.0a
S/N:SE1DA04YS/B-E

And the cable has 2 lines going across the cable near where u plug it in the port

First -- I wouldn't push on them that hard. If it shows it charging it means it is connected.

Second -- Does the brick also say "Adaptive Fast Charging" somewhere on it?

No to be honest it's exactly the same as my s5 charger but the female use port is on the side on the s6 charger

I would maybe take it back and ask for an official charger. This is the one I got. Once I plug in it scrolls charger connected then fast charger connected right after.

If fast charging is working it'll say in the drop down notification screen
Won't work with wireless charging

I would contact where you bought it from to get the official brick. Sounds like you didn't get the official Samsung one.

Its wrong charger, EP-TA10UWE is for Galaxy S5 and doesnt have adaptive fast charging.
EP-TA20UWE is the one that comes with S6/S6 Edge and support adaptive fast charging..

I can vouch for this cos I have a non fast charger plug and fast charger plug because I needed a spare plug. It does make a big difference in charging, the fast charger is much quicker
