S6 or G4?

I have had the G3 longer than any other modern day smart phone that I have owned. I am guessing the G4 will treat me as well (fingers crossed).

Haha but i wont lay claim to having all the answers

I struggled to part with the G3 but i had to get the S6 Edge. I was curious as to that duel curve display and aesthetically its very very nice, i have since rooted and opened up more that you can do with the edge display.

The G4 carries over exactly the vibe from the G3 with a nice seasoning in the optics and performance

Yeah, I really like what Samsung did with the Edge but in the end it was still a "Sammy".
You know better than most that I like Sammy but it is nice that there is more to choose from these days.
And oh those fabulous back buttons........

I'm also trying to choose between the 2 devices and I'm having a tough time. I've watched just about every G4 and S6 review and read tons of forums and articles on them. I've decided to wait for the 5.1.1 update on S6 and see if it fixes the terrible ram management and improves the camera app to make it closer to the one on the G4, they need to at least add shutter speed control. Hopefully it will also fix more of the bugs. If the update can do those things I think I'm going to get an S6. If it doesn't fix the ram and improve the camera app then I'm going to go with the G4.

My biggest issues with the G4 right now are the horrible video quality due to what I think is very poor or over aggressive OIS, no root, and poor dual window support. I'd also prefer more internal storage (yes I know SD cards, but I don't want apps on my SD card, just media), a fingerprint scanner (didn't care at all about this until Google I/O now I want one), and I wish it had a little bit better chipset inside (not the 810 though). I know the chipset, fingerprint scanner, and storage isn't going to change, but If LG can fix the video and root can fix the dual window thing before Samsung fixes their issues I might just go with the G4.

Add me to the list. I get 5 to 6 hours SOT everyday with my s6 edge. Believe it or not, I don't care.

not trying to be snarky, but I wonder if you would care if you were get 2.5-3 hours like so many are ...

I don't understand why people would call anyone a liar (not saying you did) bit the alarming thing is the huge inconsistency. it seems 50/50 and that's the problem IMO
