S7 and Music App Accessibility?

So, with any of my other Android phones, listening to music via Google Music or running my Sonos app, the current song would appear on the lockscreen and in the pull-down shade. On my new S7, however, neither app displays on the lockscreen or in the pull-down window shade while running. Is this a functionality that needs to be activated somewhere in TouchWiz? If so, where?

Nevermind! Turns out notifications were off for those two apps. Turned notifications on and all is well.
