S7 can unlock by swiping the screen even though a pin and fingerprint is set up?

I just set up fingerprint recognition on my s7 but it allows the phone to be unlocked by swiping the screen without asking for my pin

Welcome to Android Central! Search for the "Lock Automatically" option in the settings -- make sure that's set to a short interval. If it's a long interval, that means the phone will wait that long after the phone's screen has turned off before the phone locks again.

Could also be your in a "Trusted place" not sure where that setting is...I think its your privacy settings
