S7 Edge "Always on Display" with Clear View case problem

Can uou please tell what was the version of firmware on which AOD worked with clear view case?

Hi, I got my new S7 edge, bought Samsung Clear view case, and screen protector with it.
I was at the place to return the phone for Samsung warranty for one part of the screen did not react to touch, the guy said Samsung would remove the screen protector anyway, so why don't we try? We did, so it worked OK, I just threw money out on window with that, to Samsung.
I have the "smart" clear view window BLACK on my S7 edge. Annoying. Smart window clear BLACK view, with always on display, but dumb programmers paid at Samsung, is really irritating. Then when note 7 explosions news came, there were news about getting goodies from the note - like smart cover clock and date kinda minimum data.. and wonder happened!! I got date, time and battery under my Clear view case window!!!
Happy like hell, until next update.
It was gone, after just a few days.
Now, today, new update, and I get it again!! So much fun, every day is different!! Fun POWERED BY SAMSUNG.
I thought Samsung programmers were dumb, not having a chance of testing what they are doing, but now I am convinced, the whole company is clueless.. They show up like happy, to have this minimalistic and obvious service missing or even playing with, after having the phone launched almost a year back, but from a flag ship with expensive cover, I consider it, as a poor service, and lack of attention to customer needs.
Today, at the moment it is working - the minimalistic info behind even the clear view window!!- , I am begging not to have an update killing it. It is a sad and poor service, that what it is.

I have the same clear view cover alnd it does the same because its how it works. At first i think it was broken but if you seash for s7 edge clear view cover you will see in thevideos

I have the same clear view cover and lalcontece exactly the same at first thought it was broken but if you need on YouTube by galaxy s7 edge clear view cover you will see that in the videos it goes out. IT IS NORMAL TO DO THAT BECAUSE SHE FIXED IT SO. I really liked that it had alwys on but unfortunately it does not have ...

My Clear View cover has a weak magnet which switches on the display when opened, but doesn't keep it closed. The stronger magnet in the rear keeps that closed, but interferes with writing on the screen (not a great problem). More worrying is the strength of the front screen. The corner broke off when the phone fell from the car seat onto the car carpet - about 15 inches! Also, due to the stiffness of the 'spine' the cover screen tends to pull across, turning on the phone screen even when laid flat. Not cheap either! I'll probably change it.

I had the same issue! I need to find a way to slow the reaction time off the auto brightness or i will change my s-view for an other case.

Someone know a good apps to change reaction time of the auto brightness or force s-view brightness?

I dont know if its the new Oreo installation or not, but is there any way to get the camera and phone book functions back on the s view screen? They have just disappeared into thin air
