S7 Edge AT&T Software Update (3/18/16)

Not too familiar with Package Disabler since I'm new to Android and Samsung, but did that help the darkness issue before? Just trying to figure out something in case it reverts back to being too dark.

The update did not help the colors. I re-enabled the two Game Services, and the colors became dark again.

Also yes Package Disable works wonders for this issue. To correct the colors you need to disable GamepadService and GameService

Thanks for the quick reply. That's unfortunate, wonder why mine aren't as dark without Package Disabler.

By disabling those two services, will that take the little features away that you can toggle off and on so that the physical buttons can't be accidentally touched while in game?

No, the Game Launcher is separate from that. Ex: I still have the option turned on to block notifications will in game.

mine was super laggy after the update completed, but after 5-10mins now it seems to be running like before.

also if you have adopted storage enabled, the update does not mess with it.

Something did happened to my phone before update. Screen locked and apps were missing but eventually everything went through without any issue. It took about 20 minutes before settling in.

Baseband updated, "security enhancements" date updated to March 10, but security level remains February. So, while it appears to be security related, it is not THE Monthly security update.

Re: AT&T Update for the S7 Edge

Looks like an update is available for the AT&T variants as well. Mine is just in the process of rebooting. The update was about 40MB.

So since I did the update my husband and both are having bluetooth connection issues in our cars. It will connect play and work for approximately one minute and then then stop. But when you look in settings it shows still connected

Re: AT&T Update for the S7 Edge

My Messages app stopped working after the AT&T update. When I open messages and click on a single person-to-person existing test, it closes and gives me the error "Unfortunately, Messages has stopped working". What's weird is that it DOES NOT do this for group messages. HELP!!
