So far im impressed with the battery life. In my daily and normal use with my Nexus 5x, I usually just get like 30 mins of sot and 60% left in my battery at the end of the day. But with my edge, I get like 1 hr and 20 mins of sot and 80% battery left at the end of the day.

I'm on my first day of use so have not tested it yet. Sat at 96% now after being off charge for an hour and a half. Been using it the last 5 mins with screen on.

Is it true that it takes a few cycles for a battery to work at it's optimal level, and if so why? I have about 3-4% drain an hour with me not really doing anything on the phone. Only got it yesterday so not sure if this is normal?

Did you restore a backup from old phone or did you start from fresh?

Everything but apps, I wanted to start a fresh with that as probably had more than I needed and used.

Just few minutes shy of 8hrs of Screen on time on my edge and then the device was shut down.

I am totally happy with this

After a week, I just had the first day with 5 hours screen time over a full 24 hr standby. I got the same amount of screen time on my Note 5 today with slightly longer standby.

Got a questions for you all.
I got my S7 edge 2 days ago but the battery life doesn't seem to last as long as some of you guys are stating.

Just a few stats: I don't use any app disabler, I'm on WiFi at all times, just restored messages from my iphone.

I'm currently trying at 33% with 3 hours and 7 minutes on screen time.

Seems really low. Any help for this?

Battery update after using for a few days. Wifi on all day as well as Bluetooth. Probably normal usage for me. 5 hours of screen time with 25% left

I just got my s7 edge yesterday. Set it all up and ready to go last night.
Today... Off the charger at 8am from my office. Been hitting this w calls and with work activity. Then tonight browsing, a podcast, news apps...AC app, little YouTube. I'm @ 44% with 3:55 min on screen time. That's crazy!
I'm not doing a review but my 6p doesn't do this. Idk... Only one day but impressive.

I may write a quick impressions post based on what I think vs the s6 I had until the note 5 landed.

I would love to hear your thought on going from the Note 5 to the S7 Edge.
I was originally interested in going from the Note 5 to the S7 Edge but have been rethinking it as I might want to wait for the Note 6.

Today's actually my 1st full day with the phone and being off work. In the basement of my work I get no 4G signal phone drains a little more but yesterday I didn't use it much was letting the screen protector settle in but I got home with 32% and my M9 which I also had with me had to be charged during work it was like 22% and my new phone had 60 or 70% But anyway today I took phone off charger and am letting it get way down and am setting it up downloading apps and stuff and I am curious to see what my stats are. I love this phone!
