S7 edge Battery life

Can someone help me with my battery life, right now I'm only getting about 3 hours sot. I have gone through and disabled stuff but still horrible battery life.

Check the forums. Delete Occlus and disable gear Vr (have to do it every time you reboot, too). Seems to be tied to androids latest update. I think it's got a bad radio too. Hoping for October update soon

If you just got a S7E you need to charge and use it for a few weeks before it gets better.

Look to see what is using the most of your battery also.
It will tell you.

Have you gone to a Best Buy and talked to a Samsung Rep on the battery life also.

Anyone experience their s7 edge getting really hot and battery life eating away fast after they updated the Google photos app recently ?

Glad I found this thread! I got my S7 Edge last Friday from 02 in the UK. Less than impressed by the battery life (having come from a rock solid Note 4). I was ready to send the device back as faulty when I stumbled upon this thread. I'm guessing my results are about average for what others are getting IE a gradual if constant drain?

Looks normal for the first 7% drain. Do you have stats for at the end of the day?

Judging by your Facebook notifications, I would start there with Facebook being a factor.

Go alson into notifications.
There may be a lot of apps you don't use
Or bloatware ,turn a lot of the notifications off. I even turn off email notification, I go to email and swipe down on the screen to get it to check for email.
Only notification I leavever on are system and text messaging
Your apps will constantly run and check for updates.
This uses up battery.

Usually I would agree, however this was just a lot of replies to a post that came through at once. That said, it was never an issue working like this on my note 4, a two year old device, so really I shouldn't have to change the way I use a brand new handset.
