S7 Edge: can't switch keyboard in settings

Since the latest Samsung system update, I can no longer switch keyboards in Language and Keyboard in Settings. There is no such option. I know that the easy way is to drag from up top, but this function is not always responsive when my phone is just waking up after having been off all night. I could easily wait 5 minutes while there's stuff running in the background. I used to be able to get around this annoying wait time by switching in Settings instead. I am multilingual and being able to quickly switch back and forth is crucial. Sigh... System updates are seldom good news. Can anybody help? Thanks!
